"Spearfinger" out now!

In Fall of 2023, I got to work on a student short film "Spearfinger" as the production sound mixer. It was an incredible experience with many challenges and hardships, but looking back on the project, I'm incredibly proud of the work completed by myself and my Boom Operator, Hayden Blocker, for this great project created by director Tessa Morell. "Spearfinger" was filmed over the span of 4 days in the woods of South Carolina, which brought many challenges, including two days of rain, loud recording environments, and more. Working through these challenges is a core skill of production sound mixers, and this experience taught me so much about the teamwork required to efficiently operate within a film set. Working with the excellent camera and G&E crews to achieve the highest level of audio recording possible while filming a great looking interpretation of Tessa's script was an invaluable experience I still think about to this day.
